Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Technician in Nashville to install, program, startup, certify and train on security and life-safety systems across projects. You will be part of a team that supports growth and customer satisfaction and collaborates with engineering for technical problem solving.

You’ll work with Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Milestone, Hanwha and AXIS, interpret schematics, and provide hands-on customer training. Travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of field service experience preferred.
• Experience with security systems, life-safety, or building automation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security, life-safety and related systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Commission new systems and provide customer training and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
