Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security, fire, and building automation systems across varied projects. You will read blueprints and troubleshoot while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to sites. Certifications such as Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, or AMAG are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in security installation/service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Commission new systems and provide customer training and ongoing technical support.
