TRL Systems in California is seeking a Security Technician to install commercial electronic security and life safety systems, including access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection.
Responsibilities include reading drawings, pulling and terminating cable, installing field devices, and maintaining a safe job site. Overtime, weekends, or nights may be required; high school diploma and CA driver license are needed.
The Security Technician at TRL Systems is responsible for the installation of commercial electronic security and life safety systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Working under the direction of a Foreman or Lead Technician, this role performs hands‑on installation of low‑voltage devices, cabling, and supporting construction activities for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security systems. Responsibilities include reading construction drawings, pulling and terminating cable, installing field devices, maintaining a clean and safe job site, accurately documenting work, and collaborating with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and committed to learning industry standards and installation best practices.
