TRL Systems, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Lead Technician to supervise on-site installation of nurse call, security, and fire life safety systems in healthcare facilities.
You will lead a crew, perform wiring and testing, read construction drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with nurse call, security, and life-safety systems, plus ability to train technicians and maintain project documentation.
The Healthcare Lead Technician is responsible for leading the onsite installation of nurse call, security, and fire life safety systems within healthcare facilities. This role serves as a hands‑on technical lead, overseeing a crew while actively performing installations, wiring, device installation, troubleshooting, programming, and basic construction activities.
The Lead Technician serves as the primary onsite customer contact and works closely with the Foreman and Project Manager to maintain project schedules, quality, documentation, and safety standards. The position requires the ability to read and interpret drawings, coordinate materials and equipment, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure installations meet applicable electrical codes, construction requirements, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate is a technically capable and dependable field leader who can work independently, communicate effectively with customers and project teams, train technicians, maintain accurate project documentation, and drive projects through successful completion and closeout.
