Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to install, configure and troubleshoot intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, intercom and related IT infrastructure. You will verify installations, read blueprints, complete as-built drawings, and deliver client acceptance testing with AHJs and others.

You will also participate in on-call rotations after six months, maintain knowledge of product lines, and ensure compliance with local licenses and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Electronic Technician program or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and troubleshoot intrusion, access control, CCTV, and related systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specs to verify installation.
• Produce as-built drawings and client acceptance test reports.
