Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician II - Security Systems to program and install security systems per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings. You will coordinate small groups of installers and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in commercial security or related telecom, with proficiency in the listed tools and basic MS Office skills. Competitive pay and full benefits follow after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field.
• Proficient with the listed tools and able to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV, intrusion) per requirements and drawings.
• Lead small installer teams, coordinate workload, and ensure safety/quality standards.
• Complete paperwork (timesheets, transfers, work orders, change orders) accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all company, customer, and industry safety standards and regulations.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities as needed.
