Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking an Installation Technician II to install and service intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites. You will run wiring, configure equipment, and ensure code-compliant operation while coordinating with project teams.

Requires 2–3 years of field experience, a high school diploma, and relevant certifications; the role offers a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training as you support a nationwide security solutions provider.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE 2–3 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 video Certifications and 1 Access Control Certification are required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems is preferred.
• Access Control Certification is preferred.
• IP Video and IT experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.
