Job summary

i2G Systems in the United States is seeking a Lead Technician to manage site installation and field operations for security solutions. You will coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors, read specs, train replacements, and ensure project success alongside internal and external teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, testing, and acceptance of control systems, with opportunities to advance into project management. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of physical/electronic security experience.
• Experience with access control systems; Lenel/Genetec preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor, internal resource communications.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand written specifications, drawings and controlling documents; maintain documentation.
• Perform installation and training on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external parties.
• Communicate necessary project changes and implement them.
• Work in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complete final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
