Job summary

You will diagnose issues, perform on-site software upgrades, document changes, and collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable access control, CCTV, burglary and fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Experience with commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually and as a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration).
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce quality technical documentation describing deployment details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
