Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Brookfield, CT is seeking a Security Service Technician to service and maintain intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems. You will diagnose issues, test functionality, complete documentation, and travel to job sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 3+ years in fire and life safety, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to read technical drawings and work independently in customer environments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if driving role.
• Strong working knowledge of intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and system drawings.

Aufgaben

• Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of security systems.
• Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with codes and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately and on time.
• Travel to job sites as required.
