Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician with strong customer service, communication, and time management skills. You will install, service, and troubleshoot electronic and physical security systems, travel to client sites, and train customers as needed.

If you have 2–5 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of alarm, access control, and CCTV systems, you may join our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of electronic and physical security service and installation experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of security equipment (alarm systems, access control, video, CCTV, drive-up, teller equipment).
• Knowledge of Bosch, DMP, March DVR, 3VR, and Lenel Access product lines preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to a week if necessary.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 100 lbs, frequent bending and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for alarm failure troubleshooting and repair.
• Install and service electronic and physical security products.
• Install and wire electronic equipment used in systems.
• Maintain and track tools, equipment, and parts.
• Test installed equipment for proper performance and codes compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment.
• Communicate project status to management and customers.
• Complete required paperwork on time (time sheets, reports).
• Follow purchasing procedures and manage stock in vehicle and inventory.
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicle and safe driving practices.
• Train less experienced employees on procedures and techniques.
• Ensure work meets CSG quality standards and safety laws.
• Seek new business opportunities when not on service.
