Job summary

Gotcha Security, based in Villa Rica, GA, seeks a Technical Manager to lead CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. The role requires diagnosing complex issues, owning the training program, and guiding field technicians.

The candidate will work independently, coordinate with vendors, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The position emphasizes troubleshooting, system reverse-engineering, and a strong ability to read work orders and SOPs.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in related field.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, reverse-engineer, and take ownership of unfamiliar or undocumented systems with little to no vendor support.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, SOPs and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the products/solutions we provide.
Research new products for future offerings.
Own the company's technical training program: complete, maintain, and deliver training curriculum, materials, and hands-on technical support for field installers, technicians, and clients.
Develop best practices for equipment and solutions installations/services.
Develop and maintain quality control procedures for service and installation.
Research and implement unique solutions for clients’ needs.
Serve as the primary technical authority on solution design and configuration decisions; mentor and support other technicians on complex issues.
Maintain company service expectations.
Maintain company's expected profit margins.
Document all processes and training guides.
