Job summary

Mobile Communications America seeks an experienced Security Technician to support our Security division in the GA region (Tifton, Albany, Valdosta, Waycross). You will install and service CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems, while learning and contributing to project teams.

The role requires field work, troubleshooting, and the ability to work with trades and subcontractors; prior enterprise security experience is preferred. EPA/OSHA certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• 1+ years installing and servicing enterprise-level physical security systems.
• Ability to install devices, headend equipment, cabling, and connect to networks.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, digital, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans and diagrams.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across enterprise systems.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
• Two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with enterprise security systems installation, programming, and troubleshooting preferred.
• Training/certifications for security systems and networks, desired.
• OSHA 10/30 certification, desired.

Responsibilities

• Install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion, and other low-voltage security systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
• Work as a valued team member and as an individual to deliver quality results to customers.
• Execute assigned projects and duties in a timely manner with quality results.
