Job summary

BCM Controls Corporation in Woburn, MA is seeking a field service technician for access control and IP video systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial security equipment and maintain documentation.

Preferred candidates have 2–4 years' experience with Genetec, Lenel, S2, Milestone, Software House, Exacq, DSX or Schneider Electric, hold a valid driver's license, and are ready to own service requests and resolve customer questions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience with commercial Access/IP Video/CCTV equipment.
• Preferred experience with Genetec, Lenel, S2, Milestone, Software House, Exacq, DSX, and Schneider Electric.
• D-License preferred; valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Strong problem solving and customer service mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of new and different requests and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance for access control, IP Video/CCTV, intrusion detection and PC-based systems.
• Maintain documentation of services provided and site backups.
• Build customer confidence by resolving concerns and answering questions.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
