Job summary

Koorsen Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Security System Sales professional in the Louisville, KY area to join our team. You will sell and promote Koorsen security products, work with engineering and operations to develop quotes, and build trusted relationships with contractors and end-user customers.

The role offers a base salary of $55,000–$60,000 DOE plus an uncapped commission, with an average commission of $30,000+ and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 yrs. of previous sales experience in security systems
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Valid driver's license
• Pass drug and background screenings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of IT functionality

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote all Koorsen Security products and systems, including Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring
• Work with Engineering and Operations to develop quotes
• Build and maintain relationships with branch customers, contractors, and end-user customers
• Identify security system upgrades, moves, adds, and change opportunities
• Cold call facilities for new customer relationships
• Coordinate system demos for prospective contractors and customers
• Maintain pipeline data in Ignite - Sales Tracker
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally
• Follow safety regulations and practices
• Maintain willingness for continual learning
• Follow Koorsen policies and core values
