Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Security Sales professional to drive growth in our security systems portfolio.

You will sell intrusion, access control, video, and monitoring solutions, build relationships with contractors and end users, and develop quotes with engineering support.

The role offers a base salary of 55,000–60,000 USD with uncapped commission and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 yrs. of Previous sales experience in Security Systems, Access Control and Intrusion.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of IT functionality.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote Koorsen Security products and systems (Intrusion, Video, Access Control, Intercom, Monitoring).
• Develop quotes with Engineering and Operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with branch customers, contractors, and end-users.
• Identify upgrades and add/change opportunities.
• Coordinate system demos for contractors and customers.
• Follow Koorsen policies and safety practices.

BASE SALARY $55,000 - $60,000 DOE PLUS AN UNCAPPED COMMISSION

AVERAGE COMMISSION $30,000+

Responsibilities:

• Sell and promote all Koorsen Security products and systems, including Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring
• Work with Engineering and Operations to develop quotes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with current branch customers, Electrical and General Contractors, and end-user customers.
• Identify Security system upgrades, moves, adds, and change opportunities.
• Cold call facilities for new customer relationships
• Coordinate system demos for prospective contractors and customers about our products.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Open-minded willingness for continual learning
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.

Required:

• 1-3 yrs. of Previous sales experience: Security Systems, Access Control and Intrusion
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.

• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of IT functionality

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
