Job summary

Koorsen Fire and Security in Louisville, KY is seeking experienced Security System Sales professionals to join a top-tier team. The role offers a base salary of $55,000–$60,000 DOE plus an uncapped commission, with an average commission of $30,000+ and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will sell and promote security products and systems, build client relationships, develop quotes, and maintain the sales pipeline while collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 yrs. of previous sales experience in security systems, access control and intrusion.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of IT functionality.

Responsibilities

• Sell Koorsen Security products and systems (Intrusion, Video, Access Control, Intercom, Monitoring).
• Develop quotes with Engineering and Operations teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with branch customers, contractors, and end users.
• Identify opportunities for upgrades, moves, adds, and changes.
• Cold call facilities to generate new business.
• Coordinate system demos for prospective contractors and customers.
• Maintain pipeline data in Ignite – Sales Tracker.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and Koorsen policies.
• Demonstrate openness to continual learning.
• Support the sales team as needed.
