M.C. Dean, a leader in Building Intelligence, seeks a Security Systems Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to oversee complex electronic security projects for federal, local, and commercial clients from our Tysons, VA office.

You will manage day-to-day project operations, coordinate design and construction activities, and drive on-time delivery of high-value installations. The role requires a BS in EE or related field with 5–7 years of construction experience, strong scheduling skills, and

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5–7 years of construction/electrical contracting experience.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and design/construction documents.
• Familiarity with change orders, RFIs, submittals and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section.
• Identify and resolve change orders; track and price changes.
• Plan cash flow against expenses and maintain as-builts and documentation.
• Interpret blueprints and project specs; prepare estimates for partially designed projects.
