Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Security Systems Operations Manager to lead the installation team, support customer success, and drive safety, quality, and financial performance across the area.

The role partners with sales, service, operations, and leadership to deliver secure, high-quality projects while promoting a strong safety culture. Requires extensive experience in operations management within the installation industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of progressively more responsible operations management experience in the Installation Industry, including five or more years of direct management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the capacity, staffing, and overall performance of the Install Team across the area.
• Establish team objectives and direct efforts to achieve productivity, quality, and contract performance targets.
• Hire, retain, coach, and performance manage direct reports, including career development planning and documented performance reviews.
• Drive compliance with the JCI Safety Program for employees and subcontractors, including on-site observations and coaching.
• Monitor forecast and actual project revenue and executed margin, and take action to support results.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, regional teams, and the Market GM to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
