Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee the installation of Security Systems, including Video Surveillance and Access Control, across Washington state. You will plan, schedule, supervise, and manage installation activities, procure equipment, and produce detailed progress reports for management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training from a two-year electronic trade school.
• 3–5 years' experience installing electrical and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, schedule, supervise, and manage all installation activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Verify and confirm the procurement of all necessary equipment for installations to minimize delays.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, expense reports, and other pertinent documentation to keep management informed.
• Assess and evaluate system performance and effectiveness, aiming to reduce equipment malfunctions and enhance operational reliability.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge regarding current industry standards and emerging developments to remain competitive.
• Communicate effectively with associates and customers regarding changes in industry standards or procedures that may impact operations.
• Develop the workforce size and structure necessary to efficiently manage subscriber-related workloads, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
