Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Technology Specialist to install, configure, and maintain computer systems and security-focused hardware across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will support Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management systems while ensuring uptime and performance. The ideal candidate has strong system administration experience, a proactive approach to stability, and the ability to work outside regular hours to address critical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Able to analyze complex data and develop analysis-appropriate conclusions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Server/Client environments.
• Proficient in SQL Server programming.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving tech.
• Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, SQL and Node is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Administer and maintain security systems (access control, CCTV, badging, visitor management, weapons detection).
• Perform monthly patching and firmware updates.
• Handle service requests and security projects, data exports, troubleshooting.
• Build, deploy and troubleshoot security workstation configurations.
• Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Configure CCTV maps, analytics and alarms; develop analytic learning protocols.
