Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is a global leader delivering integrated security solutions. We are hiring an Installation Technician to install and service security systems at customer sites, handling post-installation support and occasional special projects.

The role requires field work, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with project leads to meet schedules and quality expectations. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work after hours are required.

Qualifications

• MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
• NICET Certification preferred
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred
• Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred
• IP Video and IT experience preferred
• Climb ladders up to 24 ft. in height
• Carry items up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls.
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
• Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations meeting customer and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on on-site scheduling and timely equipment delivery.
• Conduct tests to ensure systems and devices are operational.
• Troubleshoot new installations to meet codes and insurance requirements.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to safety policies.
• Promote customer relations and assist with contract retention.
• Keep documentation and proprietary information secure per company policies.
