Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking motivated individuals to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control for homes and businesses in the Loves Park area. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour, with a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay.

The role requires driving, ability to travel, and the ability to obtain required licenses/certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work.
• Must be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices installed function properly.
• Use multimeters for volt and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the alarm system works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Central Monitoring Station.
