Job summary

USA Talent Solutions is seeking an Installation Technician in Pittsburgh with 5+ years in the low voltage field. You will install, service, program, and troubleshoot commercial security systems, reading drawings, wiring, and ensuring code compliance.

Responsibilities include installing devices, reading schematics, stacking cables in backbone and riser, collaborating with coordinators and field managers, delivering professional customer service, and participating in on-call schedules.

Qualifications

5+ years in the Low Voltage industry.
Certification in Lenel S2, AMAG, Software House, Velocity, R2, Open Options, Genetec.
Certification in CCTV systems such as AXIS, Avigilon, Hanwha, Eagle Eye, Hikvision, Verkada, or similar.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Ability to read construction drawings and schematics.
Willingness to pass background, identity, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Install and service commercial security devices/systems including intrusion, access control, video, and fire.
Read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
Abide by building code standards and safety policies.
Prepare pathways and supports for cabling installations.
Pull copper and coaxial cable in various environments.
Coordinate with service coordinators and field staff on project status.
Provide professional customer service and maintain a neat appearance.
Participate in on-call schedule.
