Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled technician to install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and network cabling. You will run, terminate, and label cables, and perform regular inspections to keep systems functioning optimally.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, user training, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, while collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with local electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following project specs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and network cabling.
• Run, terminate, and label cables following project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform regular system inspections and promptly troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to end users on system operation and maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project managers to complete projects successfully.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Evaluate and upgrade systems to enhance performance and meet current standards.
