TEKsystems in Charleston, SC is seeking an Access Control & CCTV Technician to support commercial projects in the Lowcountry. This Contract to Hire role offers a four‑day work week, competitive pay, and overtime opportunities.

You will install access control, CCTV systems, and low‑voltage cabling, read blueprints, and troubleshoot on-site. This onsite position provides growth opportunities into Lead Technician roles.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of installation experience in a commercial environment.
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling.
• Install and mount cameras and security devices.
• Install access control equipment and door hardware.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and device layouts.
• Troubleshoot security and low-voltage systems.
• Work on commercial projects including schools, offices, and government facilities.
