Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking Security Installation Technicians to support commercial security projects in the Beaufort, SC area, with markets extending to Charlotte and Charleston. Ideal for technicians with low-voltage or security installation experience looking to grow in access control, CCTV, and electronic security systems.
The role requires independent work, troubleshooting, and supporting projects from installation through completion, with a contract-to-hire path.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of low-voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience.
- Experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating low-voltage cabling.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, access control systems, or related security devices.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and device layouts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Install and service CCTV, IP camera, and access control systems.
- Pull, route, dress, and terminate low-voltage cabling.
- Read and interpret project drawings, device layouts, and installation documents.
- Troubleshoot low-voltage and security systems.
- Maintain quality, safety, and installation standards on commercial job sites.
