Job summary

The Security Center, Inc. is seeking a field technician to perform preventive maintenance and service on access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems. You will ensure proper documentation and assist other technicians while coordinating with administration on projects.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of alarm security experience and basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook). You may respond to emergencies after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service.
• Ensure that documentation is properly completed and submitted.
• Assist other technicians as needed.
• Escalate and resolve issues; report recurring site trips.
• Service and install access control, intrusion alarm, video surveillance, and related systems.
• Update system configurations and add devices as needed.
• Coordinate with administration for project/work orders.
• Provide written documentation of service calls and materials.
• Respond to emergencies after hours to address security concerns.
• Maintain inventory: list parts on work orders and keep truck stock.
• Respond to calls from SCI personnel within four hours.
• Submit time via Remote Tech weekly by 9 a.m. Saturday.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen; valid driver's license.
