Job summary

Security Center USA is seeking an Access Control Installation & Service Technician to install, test, and maintain access control systems across facilities in the Southeast U.S. You will configure readers, panels, and biometric devices while ensuring secure, reliable operation.

Role involves travel to client sites in FL, GA, SC, with on-call evenings and occasional weekends. Requires reading wiring diagrams and strong troubleshooting skills; NICET certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience installing/servicing electronic access control systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test access control hardware and software (readers, biometric scanners, control panels).
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on access control systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and network issues.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Document configurations and service reports accurately.
• Stay updated on access control tech and best practices.
