Accelera in the United States is seeking a Security Systems Field Technician to install and commission integrated access control and CCTV surveillance systems for commercial environments. You will perform end-to-end integration, ensuring reliable operation and client satisfaction.

You will read architectural blueprints, conduct low-voltage wiring, troubleshoot IP networks, and coordinate with project managers to meet safety standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial low-voltage, security, or surveillance system installation.
  • Proficiency in reading and executing technical plans and construction schematics.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals, including device addressing and network connectivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic system malfunctions effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the installation, configuration, and commissioning of integrated access control and CCTV video surveillance systems.
  • Perform precise low-voltage wiring, cable termination, and system testing to ensure peak operational performance.
  • Interpret complex architectural blueprints and construction drawings to guide accurate hardware placement.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, including IP networking, PoE configurations, and device communication.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control during the physical installation of intrusion detection and electronic security hardware.
  • Collaborate with project managers and onsite teams to meet strict project timelines and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards while working from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.
