Job summary

ABF Security is seeking an experienced professional to move into the estimator/sales side, leveraging field experience in construction projects and fire protection systems. You will develop opportunities for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and integrated systems, collaborating with customers, estimators, designers and operations to turn site conditions into practical, code-aware solutions.

You will survey sites, review plans, and lead technical discovery, then develop concepts,

Qualifications

Ability to read plans and understand construction coordination.
Strong customer communication, presentation, organization and project-management skills.
A sales mindset: curiosity, follow-through, accountability and comfort asking for the business.

Responsibilities

Build relationships and develop new opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking and customer education.
Survey sites, review plans/specifications and lead technical discovery.
Develop system concepts, estimates, proposals and scope narratives.
Prepare layouts, shop drawings, submittals, battery and voltage-drop calculations.
Coordinate with customers, engineers, architects, AHJs and construction trades.
Identify scope changes and support change orders.
Own follow-up and maintain visibility into your pipeline and forecast.
Stay engaged from opportunity development through handoff and project coordination.
