Job summary

ABF Security is seeking an experienced fire and security professional who blends technical depth with a customer-focused, commercial mindset. You will develop opportunities in fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and integrated systems, turning field conditions into practical, sellable solutions.

You will survey sites, review plans, lead technical discovery, and develop concepts, estimates, and proposals. Strong communication and CAD skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire protection/system design experience and a customer-facing role.
• NICET Level II or higher required with strong code knowledge.
• Ability to read plans and perform construction coordination.
• Experience with floor-plans and CAD/design tools.

Responsibilities

• Survey sites, review plans/specifications and lead technical discovery.
• Develop system concepts, estimates, proposals and scope narratives.
• Prepare layouts, submittals, battery calculations and voltage-drop calculations.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, architects, AHJs and trades.
• Identify scope changes and support change orders.
• Own follow-up and maintain pipeline visibility.
• Engage from opportunity development through handoff and coordination.
