Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Engineer 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers across growth markets. The role requires collaboration with engineers, PMs, and field teams to deliver secure, compliant systems. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years of experience, with ability to travel up to 25% and to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
• 2+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements for security projects.
• Prepare technical submittals (Product Data, O&M, Warranty) for security projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians throughout the lifecycle.
• Support large-scale construction project lifecycles and ensure customer standards.
• Lead design reviews and keep clients informed through review calls.
• Develop design standards and mentor project execution toward design excellence.
