Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and testing of electronic security solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients.

A strong background in electronics, problem solving, and teamwork is required. The candidate will execute hardware and software configurations, perform surveys, and ensure safety and quality standards per NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Configure hardware/software, test systems, and provide customer technical support.
• Ensure safety plans are followed and field work complies with NEC standards.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
