Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Systems Specialist to support physical security platforms, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. You will lead system migrations, manage badge administration, and train users on complex security hardware and software.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in IT/PM/Criminal Justice and at least 3 years of administrator-level security systems experience, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing or using security systems at an administrator level
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to write manuals, respond to RFPs, training docs, and create presentations
• Professional, articulate, and able to use independent judgment and discretion
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Manage operator users and utilize CCURE 9000, Exacqvision, and TDS for Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management
• Serve as Project Manager for security system migrations and projects
• Coordinate with Security Operations Lead and Senior Security Manager on system projects
• Manage Badge Administration duties and responsibilities
• Develop and manage training guides for security systems for end users
• Triages and diagnoses system errors and audits critical alarms
• Liaise with Security Systems Vendor; advise on service quality and upgrades
• Create operator accounts for new/existing users in CCURE 9000, ExacqVision, TDS, ITRAK
• Update Security System SOPs and audit hardware, clearances, events
• Respond to after-hours system emergencies
• Be point of contact for all customer personnel regarding security systems
