Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, organize, direct, and control project-planning and performance for electronic security installations. You will manage schedules, field installation, QC/QA, and overall budget while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 6+ years in project management, preferably in security systems, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience, electronic security industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record managing 4+ Million Dollar projects to schedule and budget.
• Expert knowledge of PM techniques and tools; general knowledge of contract laws and regulations.
• PMP from PMI preferred.
• Ability to work independently in technical and business environments.
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with vendors, internal and external customers while balancing time versus profits.
• Allocate and maximize resources through project planning to meet sales and PM objectives.
• Develop in-depth industry knowledge and competitive practices across markets.
• Submit Change Orders and adjust project price/installation plans.
• Support invoicing and collections; ensure contracts and invoicing are accurate and timely.
• Manage project budget and P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare installation plans, set goals, manage and implement procedures.
• Coordinate schedules with other trades and maintain records of status and material flow.
• Define problems using finance, contract management, and tools to ensure profitability.
• Plan engineering, installation and subcontracting activities; supervise labor and subcontractors.
• Prioritize workload to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed; develop fallback plans.
