Job summary

Pennsylvania Convention Center is seeking a part-time Command Station Operator to monitor CCTV, alarms, and access systems. You will respond to emergencies, document incidents, and coordinate with PCC security and local responders while maintaining logs and system integrity.

The role requires a High School Diploma with preferred experience in public safety, and involves shift work including weekends and holidays at PCC facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interface with the public, outside representatives and center clients.
• Experience in public safety or security operations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional safety training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and CCTV for alarms or threats.
• Record and respond to emergencies and alarms around PCC.
• Coordinate with security supervision and local emergency services when needed.
• Maintain command station logs and equipment.
• Operate building access and visitor registration systems.
• Distribute incident information to relevant staff and clients.
