Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Second Shift Security Supervisor to lead the Security team, protect guests and associates, and uphold legendary hospitality. You will supervise officers, run shift operations, handle incidents, and ensure safety across the property with proactive measures.

The role requires leadership, experience with security systems, and a commitment to exceptional guest service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to motivate teams and enforce policies.
Experience with incident response, investigations, CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and report writing.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers, providing direction and guidance to ensure service, professionalism, and policy compliance.
Lead daily shift operations with briefings, post assignments, staffing, and security updates.
Oversee incident response, investigations, and documentation, escalating when necessary.
Review security operations, patrols, reports, lost-and-found, key control, and policy compliance.
Maintain a safe environment for guests, associates, visitors, and assets through proactive security measures.
Monitor incidents and use de-escalation techniques to resolve issues.
Inspect guest areas, public spaces, parking, restricted areas, doors, and life-safety equipment for risks.
Operate CCTV, alarms, access control, radios, and other security equipment.
Investigate incidents and prepare accurate, detailed reports.
Provide guest service support, directions, escorts, and manage lost and found items.
