Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL in Los Angeles is seeking a Security Supervisor (Full-Time) to lead security personnel at the Los Angeles Convention Center. You will respond to security needs, supervise officers, and enforce policies during events with a focus on guest safety and smooth operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years in security, a valid CA State Guard Card, and strong communication and crowd management skills.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years security-related work experience; Legends Global/AEG Security experience may count 2:1.
• Valid CA State Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of crowd management principles and crowd control techniques.
• Ability to train and direct new hires in the department.
• Ability to create, explain, and maintain an employee roster/schedule.
• Flexible with variable work schedules including late hours, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all security needs and calls; collaborate with Security team and local law enforcement.
• Train, counsel, discipline, evaluate and supervise Security personnel.
• Manage hours of all Security Officers and Supervisors, including 24-hour and event staff.
• Enforce policies and procedures; respond to violations and complaints.
• Work with Guest Services to manage large crowds at events; ensure property is secure.
• Operate and monitor security systems (CCTV, Fire Control, radios, elevators, lighting).
• Develop and maintain an ID/credential program; update policies with VP.
