Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Security Supervisor for the Graveyard/Overnight shift at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown LA. This full-time, onsite role reports to the Security Senior Manager and requires supervising security staff, coordinating with local law enforcement, and enforcing center policies.

Responsibilities include managing hours for all security personnel, training and mentoring staff, operating CCTV and access systems, and developing an ID/credential program while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 3+ years of security related work experience.
• Valid CA State Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of crowd management principles and effective crowd control techniques.
• Ability to train new hires in the department.
• Ability to create, explain, and maintain an employee roster/schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security needs and calls for service; coordinate with security team and local law enforcement.
• Train, counsel, discipline, evaluate and supervise security personnel.
• Manage hours for security officers and supervisors, including 24-hour and event staff.
• Proactively enforce LACC policies and respond to violations and complaints.
• Manage large crowds with Guest Services during events; ensure property safety.
• Operate CCTV, Fire Control, radios, elevators, and lighting controls.
• Develop and maintain employee photo ID/credential program.
• Update policies and Emergency Evacuation Plan with the VP.
