Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor in Cambridge MA. The role supervises Security Officers and leads post operations, ensuring adherence to post orders, timely rounds, and accurate reporting.

You will coach staff, participate in trainings, and coordinate with management for coverage and performance improvements. The position emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to multiple sites while maintaining high security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years related experience or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites; ensure post orders followed and rounds completed
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees and documents actions
• Trains officers; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates
• Assists in submission of payroll and personnel information
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions
• Prepares, files, and submits reports as required
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to subordinates
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting and training staff; assigning work; appraising performance; hiring and termination recommendations
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed at posts
