Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead a team of Security Officers and protect residents and staff. You will coordinate daily security operations, respond to emergencies, and uphold department policies to maintain a welcoming, safe environment.

We value strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork. Requirements include 2+ years in public safety supervision, 1+ year in an Emergency Responder role, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the security of the community through gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and other programs.
• Monitor safety programs including security inspections, workplace accident responses, hazard communication and respirator fit testing.
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain Emergency Preparedness Plans.
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and responses to calls for service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and coaching of employees.
• Establish schedules, review and approve timesheets, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.

How you will make an impact
