Job summary

The Eliza Jane in New Orleans is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee safety and security operations for the property. You will lead on-site security efforts, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Join Makeready LLC’s team to patrol, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and collaborate with colleagues to prevent issues and resolve situations with calm efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations preferred.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations calmly.
• Strong situational awareness and vigilance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of people on the property.
• Remove wrongdoers or non-guests/team members from the area.
• Secure all exits and doors after end of operations.
• Provide assistance with any injuries or incidents and investigate, as necessary.
• Demonstrate keen awareness of surroundings.
• Possess extensive knowledge of the property and surrounding areas.
• Diffuse a situation patiently and effectively.
