Job summary

The Eliza Jane in New Orleans is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead safety operations on-site. This full-time role focuses on proactive risk assessment, monitoring entrances, and maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate calm, decisive incident handling and strong situational awareness across a historic property. The hotel group emphasizes safety, guest experience, and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or non-guests/team members from the area
• Secure all exits and doors after end of operations
• Provide assistance with any injuries or incidents and investigate and document, as necessary
• Keen awareness of surroundings
• Extensive knowledge of the property and surrounding areas
• Ability to patiently and effectively diffuse a situation
