Job summary

Prosegur Security in Denton, Texas is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily activities of Security Officers, ensure post orders are followed, and coordinate scheduling with the Account Manager. The role requires a Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Unarmed License, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong written and verbal communication with staff and clients.

You will conduct site inspections, monitor access control and visitor logs, respond to emergencies, and help train new personnel

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in security.
• Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Unarmed Security License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, management, and clients.
• Knowledge of access control, visitor management, and incident response protocols.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Demonstrated calm, professional, and decisive behavior in routine and emergency situations.

• Ensure adherence to company and client standards for professionalism, safety, and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Account Manager or General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, providing leadership and direction during critical situations.
• Prepare, review, and submit incident reports, daily logs, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new security personnel.
• Maintain professional communication with the client, Account Manager, and site personnel to address issues promptly.
• Promote a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards or unsafe practices.
• Ensure adherence to company and client standards for professionalism, safety, and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Account Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in the security industry or related field.
• Must possess a current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Unarmed Security License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, management, and clients.
• Knowledge of access control, visitor management, and incident response protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions typical of a construction environment.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in both routine and emergency situations.
