Responsibilities

As a Security Supervisor, you play a critical role in safeguarding our guests, employees, and valuable assets. Your purpose is to maintain a secure environment for all while upholding the reputation of our hotel. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks will be invaluable.

Here is how you’ll make a difference:

• Safety and Security Oversight:
  • Proactivelyhandle and document guest and employee incidents, including accidents, noise complaints, and any suspicious individuals on the premises.
  • Implementall security and safety policies and procedures to maintain a protective environment.
  • Take an active role in leading workplace health and safety trainings for hotel staff.
• Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
  • Assisthotel management in addressing unusual situations, from disorderly conduct to emergencies like fires, robberies, or medical incidents.
  • Take an active rolein executing our Crisis Management Plan, including fire panel training and command post objectives.
• Surveillance and Risk Mitigation:
  • Ensure officers are monitoringthe Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system diligently to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Reviewrecorded footage when necessary to investigate suspicious incidents.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Conductuniform and equipment inspections during shift briefings to ensure readiness of officers.
  • Review and correctofficer Incident Reports, Glitches and Daily Activity Reports (DARS) before final distribution.
  • Assistin preparing security surveys and safety risk assessments

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and abilities:

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstratedcomputer literacyis essential. Proficiency in using software applications, navigating digital platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues is highly valued.
• Effective Communication: Strongverbal and written communication skillsare crucial. The ability to convey ideas clearly, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with stakeholders is a key asset.
• Relevant Experience: A minimum of2 years of experiencein a similar role is required. Prior exposure to tasks related to this position ensures a smooth transition and contributes to overall team effectiveness.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Successful candidates exhibitstrong analytical abilitiesand can efficiently organize tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency inEnglish (speaking, writing, and reading)is mandatory. Clear communication with team members, clients, and partners is essential.
• Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: Apositive mindsetand an eagerness to learn and adapt are highly valued. We appreciate candidates who approach challenges with enthusiasm and a growth-oriented mindset.
