Job summary

Hyatt in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee all hotel safety and security operations. The role includes responding to emergencies, completing incident reports, and supervising security staff when management is unavailable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of safety and security of the hotel. This person will respond to guest and employee emergencies, complete incident reports and supervise the security staff in the absence of management. The ideal candidate will follow safety and security standards and will have refined written and oral communication skills.

This person will be an active leader in the Safety Committee. The role requires administrative duties to include payroll, safety/security inspections, risk and safety tracking. The supervisor will lead shifts and team members. It will be expected that this person represents the security function at various meetings.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances. Previous Leadership and Security/Loss Prevention experience is preferred.

Open availability including weekends and holidays is required for this position.
