Job summary

Armada LTD in Arlington, VA is seeking a Security Specialist - Program Protection with 10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree to safeguard CPI, MCC, and MCF across the acquisition lifecycle. You will develop OPSEC plans, conduct threat assessments, and coordinate SCRM for global operations.

Role requires Top Secret w/ SCI clearance, travel on short notice, and collaboration with ARMADA HQ to protect critical technologies and ensure supply chain integrity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Program Protection requirements, OPSEC methodologies, CPI/MCC/MCF identification, and SCRM principles.
• Ability to analyze threats and conduct vulnerability assessments to recommend protective measures.
• Experience supporting global mishap responses and executing security protocols under dynamic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying CPI, MCC, and MCF and implementing protection measures across the enterprise.
• Develop and implement an OPSEC Plan for CPI, MCC, and MCF across all program phases.
• Provide Program Protection security support during acquisition and sustainment activities; mitigate risks for all critical elements.
• Perform threat research and recommend countermeasures for critical program technologies.
• Conduct Supply Chain Risk Management to ensure integrity of the supply chain.
• Support Observables, Identification, and Containment Working Group activities and related protection tasks.
• Travel globally on short notice to support aircraft mishap responses and security operations.
• Collaborate with logistics to identify critical components and review supplier risks for cost-effective security measures.

CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

The Security Specialist - Program Protection supports the safeguarding of Critical Program Information, Mission Critical Components, and Mission Critical Functions throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. This role ensures protective measures are identified, implemented, and maintained to mitigate threats, supply chain risks, and exposures to critical technologies. It also provides OPSEC, SCRM, research, and mishapresponse support to preserve program integrity across global operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying Critical Program Information, Mission Critical Components, and Mission Critical Functions and implementing appropriate protection measures across the enterprise.
• Develop and implement an approved OPSEC Plan to safeguard CPI, MCC, and MCF throughout all phases of program operations.
• Provide Program Protection security support throughout acquisition and sustainment activities, ensuring risks are mitigated for all critical elements.
• Perform research on known threats and threat vectors and recommend countermeasures to protect critical program technologies.
• Conduct Supply Chain Risk Management functions to ensure integrity and security of the F35 supply chain.
• Support Observables, Identification, and Containment Working Group activities and contribute to related protection tasks.
• Support aircraft mishap responses by executing onsite security protocols to protect critical technologies and by traveling globally on short notice when required.
• Collaborate with logistics managers to support SCRM initiatives, identify critical components, review supplier risks, and recommend costeffective security countermeasures aligned with system design.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Knowledge of Program Protection requirements, OPSEC methodologies, CPI/MCC/MCF identification processes, and supply chain risk management principles.
• Skilled in analyzing threats, conducting vulnerability assessments, and recommending protective measures for critical program technologies.
• Ability to support global mishap responses, apply security protocols under dynamic conditions, and execute critical technology protection actions.
• Skilled in developing OPSEC plans, supporting acquisition and sustainment protection activities, and coordinating SCRM tasks with logistics and technical personnel.
• Ability to evaluate supplier risks, identify critical components, and recommend practical and effective security countermeasures within program constraints.

Minimum/General Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.

Minimum Education

• Master's Degree in relevant field; or a bachelor's degree and 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
