Job summary

Armada seeks a Security Specialist - Security Operations Analyst to protect classified and sensitive information across industry partners. You will ensure compliance with NISP, DoD policies, and contract security obligations, coordinating with Government and industry personnel.

The role requires security clearances (Secret) and extensive experience in industrial security, documentation management, and risk mitigation. Relocation not offered; equal employment opportunity applies.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Three years of general security experience.
  • Master's Degree in relevant field; or a bachelor's degree with 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing security documents such as DD Forms 254.

Responsibilities

  • Support INDUSEC activities protecting classified information and ITAR data.
  • Identify, document, and implement DoD industrial security requirements for classified actions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain security documentation (e.g., DD Forms 254).
  • Verify Critical Program Information, Mission Critical Components/functions are safeguarded.
  • Coordinate with industry security personnel to monitor compliance with NISP requirements.
  • Maintain records and correspondence related to industrial security oversight.
  • Participate in security reviews and working groups to address program security.
  • Assist Government personnel in evaluating contractor security practices and implementing corrective actions.

The Security Specialist - Security Operations Analyst supports the protection of classified, controlled unclassified, ITAR, and proprietary information across industry partners participating in the program. The specialist ensures compliance with National Industrial Security Program requirements, DoD policy, and classified contract obligations while safeguarding CPI, MCC, and MCF. The work includes oversight, documentation management, and coordination with Government and industry personnel to maintain strong industrial security practices and address emerging risks.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Security Specialist - Security Operations Analyst support INDUSEC activities by assisting with the protection of classified information, controlled unclassified information, ITAR data, and proprietary materials at industry sites.

  • Security Specialist - Security Operations Analyst ensure DoD industrial security requirements are accurately identified, documented, and implemented for all classified contract actions in alignment with organizational policies.

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining security documentation such as DD Forms 254 to support classified contracting requirements.

  • Help verify that Critical Program Information, Mission Critical Components, and Mission Critical Functions are properly safeguarded across industry partners.

  • Coordinate with industry security personnel to monitor compliance with National Industrial Security Program requirements and contract security obligations.

  • Maintain records, security correspondence, and documentation related to industrial security oversight and contract security guidance.

  • Participate in security reviews, meetings, and working groups to support industrial security compliance and address program security concerns.

  • Security Specialist - Security Operations Analyst assist Government personnel in evaluating contractor security practices and ensuring corrective actions are implemented when required.

  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):


  • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program requirements, DoD industrial security policies, and contract security documentation such as DD Forms 254.

  • Skilled in evaluating industry security practices, identifying gaps, and supporting the implementation of compliant protective measures.

  • Ability to interpret and apply industrial security requirements to contractor operations, including protection of CPI, MCC, and MCF.

  • Skilled in maintaining detailed records and documentation to support industrial security compliance across multiple contractor locations.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with industry security managers, Government offices, and program stakeholders to ensure sensitive information is properly protected.

  • Specialized experience with business modeling and simulation

  • Specialized experience with flag-officer level briefings and senior-level interface.


Minimum/General Experience:


  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience.

  • Three years of general security experience.

  • Master's Degree in relevant field; or a bachelor's degree and 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
