Job summary

Target is hiring a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and assets across our stores. You will use intelligence-led tactics to prevent loss, respond to incidents, and ensure a safe shopping environment.

Training will cover video surveillance, incident documentation, and collaboration with store leadership to maintain security standards. The role requires strong communication, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful candidates demonstrate strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to follow AP policies, document incidents, and use case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with finding products to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Monitor store activity, document incidents, and report security concerns using case management systems.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment and deter theft.
• Support teamwork and adapt to varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
